A US Air Force CV-22 Osprey crew from the 71st Special Operations Squadron at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, is refueled over the Rocky Mountains on 4 January 2012 by an MC-130J Combat Shadow II crew from the 522nd SOS at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. The two crews met in the middle ground between Kirtland, which is in Albuquerque, and Cannon, which is in Clovis, as part of a joint base training partnership.
