An active duty US Air Force crew from the 317th Airlift Group at Dyess AFB, Texas, accepted delivery of the unit's third C-130J on 19 November 2010 at Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Georgia. Dyess received its first C-130J in April 2010 and ultimately will operate a fleet of twenty-eight Super Hercules, making it the largest C-130J fleet in the world. Dyess is located in Abilene, Texas.
