Members of the New South Wales Police force and other state emergency services personnel pulled a Royal Australian Air Force C-130J for charity on 4 September 2010. Forming up teams of twenty people, the various first responder groups took turns to drag the Super Hercules in the fastest time over a thirty-three foot (10 meter) distance at RAAF Richmond, near Sydney. The New South Wales Police Order and Riot Squad was the winner, covering the distance in 13.99 seconds. The groups raised almost $21,000 (US) on the day for Special Olympics.
